This is an absolute must for aircraft buffs, plane spotters, nostalgia seekers, war veterans, ex-RAF and historians alike. There is no other attraction to come reletively close to this experience, in fact, people the world over travel to RAF Conningsby to view the aircraft in all their splendour. Hosting "The City of Lincoln" Lancaster bomber, one of only two of these aircraft still flying, this alone is enough of an incentive to visit, but, on top of that, you can also see Hurricanes, Spitfires and there is now a Dakota in the unique collection. All of these planes fly and they can be seen not only around the country, but around the world when they are displayed at numerous airshows. A visit to the BBMF also gives you a chance to view the aircraft up close and see the technicians working on these masterpieces. A group of dedicated volunteer guides escort visitors around the hanger. These guides ranges from technicians who used to work on the planes to some of the original pilots. they give their time freely to ensure visitors appreciate this living tribute to all the aircrew and ground crew who gave their lives during the last war.
The RAF's web site is extremely comprehensive in respect to the BBMF. There is lots of information to whet your whistle, but it doesn't stop there, take a look at the rest of the web site, you'll see information on the display teams, locations and dates of displays set out in the events section, interactive information on the latest aircraft plus too much more to mention here.

Cadwell Park has been established as one of the most popular motorcycle racing circuits in Great Britain. Anyone following the British Superbike Championship will know it well, but not only does it host this prestigeous event, there are many other race meetings to see from local motorcycle club racing to saloon cars, and from kart racing to vintage vehicles of 2 or 4 wheels. It is a very good circuit for all vehicles but excels when used for motorcycles. The prices are very reasonable and it makes for an excellent day out. A full listing of events, times, dates and prices can be obtained from the Brands Hatch Leisure Group Website (see left). Tickets can also be booked from the website, which is a very good bonus to a well laid out site format.
Driving in the Wolds

There are 3 scenic drives in the local area, each have their own unique characteristics.
Lincolnshire has been called `flat and boring` by many people who have never visited it, admittedly, there are parts which are flat (The Fens), but still have their own beauty. The Wolds on the other hand are hilly and when on top of one of the hills, you can literally see for miles.
